Bu araştırmanın amacı çocukları ilkokul kademesinde olan ebeveynlerin sosyal problem çözme becerilerini belirleyebilmek için geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak geliştirilen Sosyal problem çözme beceri ölçeği formu 300 ebeveyne uygulanmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda geliştirilen ölçeğe dair bulgulara göre, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin katsayısının 0,836 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Özdeğeri 1'den büyük olan toplam varyansın %42'sini açıklayan 2 faktör olduğu görülmektedir. Birinci faktörün açıkladığı varyans %30,102, ikinci faktörün açıkladığı varyans %12.659'dir Açıklanan toplam varyansın %40'ı geçtiği belirlenmiştir. Model uyum indekslerine bakıldığında CFI değerlerinin (Comparative Fit Index) 0.915, AGFI 0,880 ve RMSEA (Root Mean Square Error of Approximation) değerinin 0.059 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Model uyumuna ilişkin CMIN/DF (Ki-Kare testi) değeri ise 2,052 bulunmuştur. Cronbach's Alpha değerlerinin yapıcı problem çözme becerisi faktörünün 0,818; yapıcı olmayan problem çözme becerisi faktörünün 0,766 ve toplam puanının 0,848 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Analizler sonucunda güvenirlik düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Sosyal problem çözme beceri ölçeğinin ebeveynlerin yaşadığı yer, yaş, çocuk sayısı ve eğitim durumu değişkeni değerlendirmesinde anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı görülmüştür. Sosyal problem çözme beceri ölçeği ile ebeveynlerin ebeveynlik durumu değişkeni değerlendirmesinde yapıcı olmayan problem çözme becerisi ve toplam puanda değerlendirmesinde anne lehine bir farklılaşma olduğu görülmüştür. Ebeveynlerin diğer ebeveynleri ile beraber yaşama durumu değerlendirmesinde yapıcı problem çözme becerisi faktöründe ise birlikte yaşayanlar lehine anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada AFA ve DFA sonuçlarına göre, 2 faktörlü 18 maddeden oluşan ölçek kabul edilir sınırlarda olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda sosyal problem çözme beceri ölçeğinin güvenle uygulanabilir olduğu söylenebilir.
The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable scale to determine the social problem-solving skills of parents whose children are at the primary school level. As data collection in research, a formula that helps with social problem to help 300 children. According to the findings of the scale developed as a result of the analysis, the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin coefficient was determined to be 0.836. It is seen that there are 2 factors that explain 42% of the total variance with an eigenvalue greater than 1. The variance explained by the first factor was 30.102%, and the variance explained by the second factor was 12.659%. It was determined that the total variance explained exceeded 40%. In the model fit indices, CFI (Comparative Fit Index) was determined to be 0.915, AGFI 0.880, and RMSEA (Root Mean Square Error of Approximation) 0.059. The CMIN/DF (Chi-Square test) for model fit is 2,052. The constructive problem-solving skill factor of Cronbach's Alpha values was 0.818; it was determined that the non-constructive problem-solving skill factor was 0.766 and the total score was 0.848. According to the data, it was seen that the reliability levels were quite reliable. It was observed that there was no significant difference in the evaluation of the variables of the social problem-solving skill scale where the parents lived, age, number of children, and educational status. In the evaluation of the social problem-solving skill scale and the parenting status of the parents, non-constructive problem-solving skills were in favor of the mother in the evaluation of the total score. It was also determined that there was a significant difference in the constructive problem-solving skill factor in favor of those living together in the evaluation of the parents' living together with their other parents. According to the results of EFA and CFA in the study, the scale consisting of 18 items with 2 factors was found to be within acceptable limits. As a result of the study, it can be said that the social problem solving skill scale can be applied safely.
