Orthotrichum sprucei mont. türünün biyolojisi hakkında araştırmalar

Abstract

Higrofitik Orthotrichum sprucei Mont. türünün ülkemizdeki tek yayılış alanı olan Çine Çayı vadisindeki bir populasyonu in situ olarak incelenmiş ve gözlemler yaklaşık 15 ay boyunca populasyon dinamiğini ortaya koyacak biçimde sürdürülmüştür. Mevsimsel sel baskınlarına uğrayan habitat koşuları altında populasyonun azalma ve yeniden genişleme olgusunun altında yatan biyolojik uyumların anlaşılması amacıyla in vitro I ex situ denemeler gerçekleştirilmiş ve bu türün daha önceden bilinmeyen gemma oluşturma yeteneği ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Fragmentasyon yoluyla tüm karayosunlarmda kural olarak yaygın olması beklenen olgunun araştırma materyalimizde de etkin biçimde varlığı gözlenmiş ve yapılan tüm gözlem ve denemelere ilişkin görsel veriler sunulmuştur. Çalışmamız Orthotrichum sprucei Mont türünün biyolojisi üzerine yapılan ilk araştırma olma özelliğindedir.

A population of hygrophytic moss Ortholrichum sprucei Mont, were investigated in situ in the only distribution area in the country, Çine River Valley for about 15 months to determine the population dynamics of the species. To describe the biological adaptations which relies the fact of decrease and increase of the population size, in vitro I ex situ experiment were carried and gemmae production ability that were not known before was observed. Propagation by means of fragmentation that common among mosses was also observed in the species. Visual documents for all observations and experiments are presented. The present study is the first record regarding biology of the species.
