Öğretmen adaylarının öğrenme stillerinin çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the learning styles of freshmen and senior teacher candidates who are at the departments of; elementary school Education, Science and Turkish Language Education in terms of various variables. The work group was consisted of 9 Eylül University Elementary Teching department, Science Teaching department, Turkish Language Teaching department 1. Grade (n=150) and 4. Grade (n=150) students. Kolbs Learning Styles Inventory III vas employed as data gathering instrument in the study. Datum were analized in SPSS 11.00 package programme. At the end of the study meaningful level difference was found in grade level and departments of the learning styles of the teacher candidates. And also in terms of the high school departments from which they graduates their learning styles differed in reflective observation subdimension.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Sınıf Öğretmenliği, Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği ve Türkçe Öğretmenliği Bölümlerinde eğitim gören 1. ve 4. sınıf öğretmen adaylarının öğrenme stillerinin çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Çalışma grubunu Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği, Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği ve Türkçe Öğretmenliği Bölümü 1. sınıf (n=150) ve 4. sınıf öğrencileri (n=150) oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak Kolb Öğrenme Stilleri Envanteri-III kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS 11.00 paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının öğrenme stillerinin sınıf düzeylerinde ve branşlarda anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşma bulunmuştur. Ayrıca öğretmen adaylarının mezun oldukları lise bölümleri bakımından öğrenme stillerinin yansıtıcı gözlem alt boyutunda farklılaştığı görülmüştür.
