Antik dönem seramiklerinde gemiler

Abstract

Gemiler, antik dönemden itibaren hayatımızın birçok alanında yer almıştır. Antik dönem toplumlarının, gemi ile nerede ve ne zaman tanıştıkları tam olarak bilinmemektedir. Bugünkü işaretler Mısır'ı göstermekle birlikte, Girit Adası'nda Minos Uygarlığı'na ait izler bulunmaktadır. Bu nedenle, gemilerin doğduğu coğrafya ile ilgili kesin bilgi bulunmamaktadır. Ancak, bugüne dek yapılan çalışmalar, gemilerin, toplumların birbirleri ile kaynaşmalarını sağladığını ve uygarlıkların gelişmesinde önemli rol oynadığını göstermektedir. Tekneler ve gemiler kullanıldıkları zamandan itibaren, ticaret, savaş, korsanlık, balıkçılık gibi çeşitli alanlarda sıklıkla yer almışlardır. Bu yüzden, insanoğlunun kendini anlatma isteğinden doğan bezeme sanatında yansımıştır. Seramikler üzerine yapılan betimlemeler sayesinde, savaş gemileri, gemilerin mitolojideki yerleri, ticaret gemileri ve ticaret yapılan toplumlar, korsanlar ve korsan gemileri hakkında bilgi sahibi olabilmekte ve gemileri öğrenebilmekteyiz.

Therefore, they had been reflected to the art of decoration from explain to itself of human race. We are learning and have knowlage to priates and pirate ships, war ships, trade ships and mess with trade to the cultures by the agency of the ships on the pottery.
