Turistik ürün çeşitlendirmesi kapsamında kültür turizmi, Aphrodisias-Geyre örneği

Abstract

Son dönemlerde ülkeler, turizm talebinde oluşan değişiklikler nedeniyle turistik ürünlerini çeşitlendirme yoluna gitmektedirler. Turistik ürün çeşitlendirme politikalarından biri de kültür turizmidir. Türkiye, kültür turizmi açısından son derece zengin bir potansiyele sahiptir. Bu potansiyelin bir parçası olan Geyre Beldesi, Türkiye'nin en önemli antik yerleşim yerlerinden biri olan Aphrodisias'm hemen yanında bulunmaktadır. Ancak, Geyre, kültür turizmi potansiyelini yeterince değerlendirememektedir. Bu çalışmada, turistik ürün çeşitlendirmesi kapsamında kültür turizmi incelenerek, Geyre'nin kültür turizmi potansiyeli belirlenmeye çalışılmış ve bu potansiyelin değerlendirilmesine yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur. In recent years, because of the changes on the structure of the world tourism demand, many countries have decided to apply the tourism product diversification policies. Cultural tourism is the one of these policies. Türkiye has a very important potential for the cultural tourism. Geyre, as a part of this potential, located nearby Aphrodisias, one of the Türkiye' s most important heritage sites. However, Geyre doesn't make use of this potential sufficiently. In this study, cultural tourism as a tourism product diversification policy, has introduced, the cultural tourism potential of Geyre has defined and some suggestions have made in order to make use of this potential lucratively.
