Burdur Devlet Hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerin cerrahi alan enfeksiyonlarını önlemeye yönelik eğitimin etkisinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma, Burdur Devlet Hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerin CAE önlemeye yönelik eğitim öncesi ve eğitim sonrası bilgi düzeylerini ve farkındalık düzeylerini saptamak amacıyla eğitimin etkisini değerlendirmek için yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma Şubat 2019-Eylül 2020 yılında Burdur Devlet Hastanesinde çalışan ve çalışmaya gönüllü olarak katılan 150 hemşire oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan eğitim öncesi ve eğitim sonrası soru formu ile toplanmıştır.Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistiksel metodlar, wilcoxon, mc namer testleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgular:137 si kadın, 13’ü erkek, 106’sı evli, 44+ü bekar, 107’si lisans mezunu, 21’i ön lisans mezunu olduğu belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin; 11’i acil servis, 13’ü ameliyathane bölümünde, 10’u cerrahi yoğun bakımda çalıştığı belirlenmiştir. 148’inin cerrahi alan enfeksiyonları ile ilgili eğitim aldığı, 135’inin hizmet içi eğitim programına katıldığı belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin bilgi düzeylerinin belirlenmesi için 9 adet çoktan seçmeli soru bulunmaktadır.1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 sorulara eğitim öncesi sorulara verdikleri cevaplara göre, eğitim sonrası sorulara cevaplara göre doğru cevaplar yüzde olarak daha yüksek saptanmıştır.(p=0, 000).Hemşirelerin cerrahi alan enfeksiyonu ile ilgili farkındalık düzeylerinin karşılaştırılması ile ilgili 27 maddeden oluşan1.madde (p=0, 000) , 2.madde(p=0, 001), 8.madde (0, 063), 26.maddeye (p=0, 000) verdikleri cevaplar eğitim öncesi ve sonrası istatistiksel olarak anlamlı kabul edilmiştir. Sonuç: Cerrahi alan enfeksiyonunun önlenmesi ile ilgili yapılan eğitime ilişkin çalışmada Burdur Devlet Hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelere yönelik düzenlenen eğitimlerin ön testte sorulara verdikleri doğru cevaplara göre son testte verdikleri doğru cevaplar yüzde olarak daha yüksek saptanmış ve eğitimin önemli ölçüde hemşirelerde etkili olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

Obective: This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of the training in order to determine the knowledge and awareness levels of nurses working in Burdur State Hospital before and after training on preventing surgical site infection. Material and Method: The research consists of 150 nurses working at Burdur State Hospital and participating voluntarily in the study in February 2019-September 2020.The data were collected with a pre-training and post-education questionnaire prepared by the researcher. Descriptive statistical methods, wilcoxon, mc namer tests were used in the evaluation of the data. Results: It was determined that there were 137 female, 13 male, 106 married, 44 single, 107 undergraduate, 21 associate degree graduates. It was determined that 148 of them worked in the surgical intensive care unit. It was determined that 148 received training on surgical site infections and 135 participated in the inservice training program.There are 9 multiple-choice questions to determine the knowledge level of the nurses.One, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine according to the answers to the post-training questions, the percentage of correct answers was found to be the one (p=0, 000), the 2nd item(p=0, 001), the 8nd item (p=0, 063), the 26th item (p=0, 000) were considered statistically significant before and after the training (p<0, 05). Conclusion: In the study on the training on the prevention of surgical site infection, the corrcet answers given in the post-test were found to be highet in percentages than the correct answers given to the questiıons in the pre-test by the trainings organized for the nurses working in Burdur State Hospital and it was concluded that the training was significantly effective on the nurses.
