Yenileşme ve değişme kavramlarıyla ilgili 2000-2020 yılları arasında eğitim yönetimi alanında yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada 2000-2020 yılları arasında yenileşme ve değişme kavramları ile ilgili Türkiye’de eğitim yönetimi alanında yapılmış olan lisansüstü tezlerin bazı değişkenlere göre dağılımlarının incelenerek genel eğilimlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarından doküman incelemesi yoluyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nde bulunan 2000-2020 yılları arasında eğitim yönetimi alanında yenileşme ve değişme kavramlarıyla ilgili hazırlanmış olan izinli 106 lisansüstü tez oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, evrenin tamamının ulaşılabilir olması dolayısıyla örneklem alma yoluna gidilmeyerek evrende yer alan lisansüstü tezlerin tamamı araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada doküman incelemesinin aşamalarına uygun ulaşılan tezlerin analizinde içerik analizi uygulanmıştır. Veri analizi sonucunda incelenen 106 tezin 96’sının yüksek lisans, 10’unun doktora türünde olduğu; 2019 yılında 26 tez ile en fazla tezin hazırlanmış olduğu; tezlerin araştırma yöntemlerinin %93,4 oranında nicel olduğu, nitel (%3,8) ve karma (%2,8) yöntemlerin oranının oldukça az olduğu; tarama araştırma deseninin %93,4 oranıyla en fazla kullanılan desen olduğu; veri toplama aracı olarak %55,6 oranıyla en fazla ölçek, %1,3 oranıyla en az doküman inceleme ve gözlemin kullanıldığı elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre Eğitim Yönetimi alanında yenileşme ve değişme kavramları ile ilgili hazırlanan lisansüstü tezlerin çoğunluğunun yüksek lisans düzeyinde hazırlanmış olduğu, yine çoğunluğunun nicel yöntemle hazırlandığı ve tarama deseninin en çok kullanılan araştırma deseni olduğu; en fazla çalışılan örneklem türünün öğretmenler olduğu; ilgili olabilecek kavramlardan en fazla değişime direnç gösterme kavramının yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda yenileşme ve değişme kavramlarıyla ilgili ölçek geliştirme çalışmalarının yapılabileceğine, nitel veya karma çalışmalara daha fazla yer verilerek araştırma yöntem çeşitliliği ile veri çeşitliliğinin artırılabileceğine, okul yöneticilerinin yenilik ve değişim yönetimi yeterlikleriyle ilgili vi araştırmacılara ve uygulayıcılara önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

In this research, it is aimed to determine the general tendencies of the postgraduate theses made in the field of educational administration in Turkey between the years 2000- 2020 on the concepts of innovation and change by examining the distribution according to some variables. The research was carried out through document analysis, one of the qualitative research approaches. The universe of the research consists of 106 licensed graduate theses, which were prepared between the years 2000-2020 in the YÖK National Thesis Center on the concepts of innovation and change in the field of education administration. In the study, all of the postgraduate theses in the universe were included in the study, not taking the way of sampling due to the accessibility of the entire universe. Content analysis was applied in the analysis of the theses reached in accordance with the stages of document review in the research. As a result of the data analysis, 96 of the 106 theses examined were in the type of master's and 10 of them were in the doctorate type; In 2019, with 26 theses, the most theses were prepared; The research methods of the theses are 93.4% quantitative, the rate of qualitative (3.8%) and mixed (2.8%) methods is quite low; the survey research design was the most used design with a rate of 93.4%; As a data collection tool, it was obtained that scale was used the most with 55.6%, and document According to the results of the research, the majority of the postgraduate theses prepared on the concepts of innovation and change in the field of Educational Administration were prepared at the master's level, the majority of them were prepared with the quantitative method and the survey design was the most used research design; the most studied sample type was teachers; It has been determined that the concept of resistance to change is the most relevant concept. In line with the results obtained from the research, suggestions were made to researchers and practitioners related to the innovation and change management competencies of school administrators that scale development studies could be carried out on the concepts of innovation and change, that qualitative or mixed studies could viii be given more space, and that the diversity of research methods and data could be increased.
