Siyasetçi erkekler ve erkekliği yeniden üretme pratikleri

Abstract

Bu araştırma, günümüz toplumunun işleyişinin ve kamusal alanın (ve onun kurumlarının) düzenlenişinin ataerkillikten beslendiği, bunların bireylerin pratikleriyle de yeniden inşa edildiği perspektifinden hareket etmektedir. Kamusal alan rasyonalite üzerinden inşa edilirken rasyonel akıl aracılığıyla erkekle/erkeklikle özdeşleştirilir. İktidar, bürokrasi, siyaset vb. tüm kurumsal yapılarda ve işleyişte bu rasyonel akıl erillik ve hegemonik erkeklik ile normalleştirilmekte, meşrulaştırılmakta ve idealleştirilmektedir. Bununla birlikte kamusal alanın erilliğini (siyaset gibi) yalnızca yapısal dinamikler üzerinden açıklamak toplumsal gerçekliğin ancak kısmi bilgisini sunabilecektir. Bu nedenle de toplumsal gerçekliğin bütüncül bir kavrayışı için yalnızca yapısal dinamiklere değil failin pratiklerine de bakmak gerekir. Dolayısıyla siyasette aktif bir konumu işgal eden erkeklerin bu pratikler aracılığıyla siyasette eril iktidarı nasıl yeniden ürettiklerinin sorgulanmasını önemli bulan bu tezin temel amacı; siyasetçi erkekler olarak siyasi parti il başkanlarının erkekliklerini, özneliklerini ve eril siyaseti yeniden inşa etme pratiklerinin incelenmesidir. Belirtilen temel amaç kapsamında çalışma, siyasi parti il başkanlarının özel (ev içi) alan ve kamusal (siyasal) alanda erkeklikleri(ni) nasıl inşa ettiklerini; toplumsal cinsiyet perspektifi bağlamında, “alınan sorumluluklar”, “performe edilen davranışlar”, “edinilen roller” ve “üretilen pratikler” üzerinden alt sorgu alanlarıyla derinleştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu alt sorgu alanları derinleştirilirken yapı gerçekliğini de göz ardı etmeden erkekliklerin ya da özneliklerin yapısal yansımaları da sorgulanacaktır

This research is actually about the perspective that the functioning of today's society and the organization of the public sphere (and the institutions of this public sphere) are fed by patriarchy and reconstructed through the practices of individuals. While the public sphere is constructed through rationality, it has been identified with man / masculinity through the rational mind. This rational mind is normalized, legitimized and idealized by masculinity and hegemonic masculinity in all institutional structures and processes such as power, bureaucracy, politics, etc.. However, explaining the masculinity of the public sphere (such as politics) only through structural dynamics will have provided just the partial knowledge of social reality. Therefore, it is necessary to look upon not only at the structural dynamics but also at the practices of the actor for a holistic understanding of social reality. Thus, the main purpose of this thesis which finds it important to question how men who occupy an active position in politics, reproduce the male power in politics through these practices is to research the study of the masculinity, attributes and practices of the provincial heads of political parties as men of politicians. Within the scope of the main purpose stated above, the study includes how provincial heads of political parties construct masculinities in private (domestic) and public (political) spheres in the context of gender perspective, it aims to deepen it with sub question areas on "responsibilities taken", "performed behaviors", "acquired roles" and "produced practices". While these sub-question areas are being deepened, the structural reflections of masculinities or subjects will be questioned without ignoring the reality of the structure.
