Alabanda klasik dönem oda mezarı

Abstract

Alabanda antik kenti içerisinde ortaya çıkarılmış Klasik Dönem oda mezar yapısı, konumu ve mimari özellikleriyle oldukça ilgi çekicidir. Söz konusu mezar yapısı, Karia Bölgesi genelinde çeşitli mezar yapılarıyla gerek mimari açıdan gerekse işçilik açısından benzerleri ile karşılaştırılarak ele alınmıştır. Konumu ve tarihi açısından önemli ipuçları barındıran oda mezar yapısı, Alabanda antik kentinin tarihi ve coğrafyasını belirlemede çok önemli bir yer tutmuştur. Karia Bölgesi’ne özgün mimari tarzıyla, bölgenin ve Alabanda antik kentinin ölü gömme adetlerini sosyo-ekonomik açıdan anlamamıza yardımcı olmaktadır.Bu tarz mezar yapılarının siyasi bir gelişme ile bölge genelinde yaygınlık kazandığı düşüncesi ile siyasi tarihe değinilmiştir. Oda mezarın konumu ve yapı malzemesini anlamak amacıyla Karia Bölgesi coğrafyası, siyasi tarihi ve Alabanda antik kenti tarihi coğrafyası geniş çaplı araştırılmıştır. Mezar yapısını anlamak için bölge genelindeki çeşitli tarzda mezar yapıları belirli başlıklar altında incelendikten sonra Alabanda oda mezarında ayrıntılı bir şekilde anlatım yapılmış ve benzer örnekler eşliğinde karşılaştırılarak değerlendirilmiştir.

Burial chambers of classical period which is brought to light in Alabanda antique city is pretty interesting with its location and style of architecture. The structure of the tomb is handled by comparing it with other similar tombs according to the structures of several tombs in Karia area, architecture and workmanship. The burial chambers which has significant clues about the location and the history has a great importance on identifying the history and geography of Alabanda antique city. With its architectural style peculiar to Karia area it helps us to understand burial traditions of Alabanda antique city in socioeconomic terms. Political history is mentioned according to the thought about this kind of tomb structures' being widespread in the area with the political development. To understand the location of the burial chamber and the construction material, the geography of Karia area, its political history and the historical geography of Alabanda antique city are searched thoroughly. To understand the tomb structure, after various styles of tomb structures in the area are anayzed under particular titles Alabanda burial chamber is explained in detail and is commented on by comparing similar designs.
