Türkiye’de hisse senedi piyasasının gelişimi ve bazı önemli ülkelerin hisse senedi piyasalarıyla karşılaştırmalı bir analiz

Abstract

Piyasalar, tarihin en eski kavramlarından biri olarak birçok olgunun temelini oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmaya konu olan finansal piyasalar da para ve sermaye piyasası olmak üzere iki alt başlıkta incelenmektedir. Sermaye piyasası yatırım araçlarından olan pay senetleri ve pay senedi piyasasının işleyişi bu çalışmanın ana odak noktasını oluşturmaktadır. Piyasaların doğuşu ve gelişimi günümüz ekonomi ve piyasalarına yön vermiştir. Borsaların ilk oluşumları ve modern anlamda bildiğimiz Borsalara dönüşümü bu tarihsel etkilere dayanmaktadır. Bugünü anlayabilmek ve geleceği doğru tahmin edebilmemiz için tarihi ve tarihsel süreçleri iyi analiz etmemiz gerekmektedir. Tam olarak bu sebeple bu çalışma hem piyasalara hem de borsa kavramına ve tarihsel gelişimlerine ışık tutmaktadır. Dünyada ve Türkiye’de borsaların doğuşu ve gelişimi incelenerek, geleceklerinin doğru bir şekilde değerlendirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Oldukça köklü bir tarihe sahip Borsa İstanbul pay senedi piyasası bu çalışmanın ana konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de pay senedi piyasasının son 10 yıldaki gelişimini dünyadaki önemli bazı ülkelerin pay senedi piyasaları ile karşılaştırmalı olarak ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla, Türkiye Sermaye Piyasaları Birliği’nin yıllık raporlarından yararlanılmış ve pay senedi piyasasının son 10 yıllık verileri kullanılarak, piyasanın hali hazırda geldiği noktanın durumu analiz edilmiştir.

Markets, as one of the oldest concepts in history, form the basis of many phenomena. The financial markets, which are the subject of this study, are also examined under two sub headings, money and capital markets. Stocks, which are among the capital market investment instruments, and the functioning of the stock market are the main focus of this study. The birth and development of markets have shaped today's economy and markets. The first formations of the Stock Exchanges and their transformation into the Stock Exchanges we know in the modern sense are based on these historical influences. In order to understand the present and predict the future correctly, we need to analyze history and historical processes well. Exactly for this reason, this study sheds light on both the markets and the concept of the stock market and their historical development. By examining the birth and development of stock markets in the world and in Turkey, it is aimed to evaluate their future correctly. Borsa İstanbul stock market, which has a deep-rooted history, is the main subject of this study. The aim of this study is to reveal the development of the stock market in Turkey in the last 10 years in comparison with the stock markets of some important countries in the world. For this purpose, the annual reports of the Turkish Capital Markets Association were used and the current state of the market was analyzed by using the data of the last 10 years of the stock market.
