Toplanan 100 adet svabtan 3 adet (% 3) A. baumannii suşu izole ve identifiye edildi. Çalışmada izole ve identifiye edilen A. baumannii suşlarının; amikasin, meropenem, sulbaktam + ampisilin, imipenem, sefoperazon + sulbaktam gibi antibiyotiklere duyarlı olduğu, sefoperazon, levofloksasin, sefepim, seftriakson, cefuroksim sodyum, ampisilin, gentamisin, amoksisilin + klavulanik asit, sefotaksim gibi antibiyotiklere dirençli olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The aim of this study was to examine the presence of acinetobacters infections in cats and dogs in cities Aydın and İzmir. The relationship between these infections that occur in hospitals was also examined. To this end, 100 samples in total were collected from dogs (70 swabs) and cats (30 swabs) presented to small animal clinics and animal hospitals. Acinetobacter baumannii was isolated and identified in 3 out of 100 samples (3 %). These strains of A. baumannii isolates were found to be sensitive to some antibiotices such as amikacin, meropenem, sulbactam+ampicillin, imipenem and cephaperazone + sulbactam. On the other hand, they were found to be resistant to cephaperazone, levofloxacin, cefepime, ceftriaxone, cefuroxime sodium, ampicillin, gentamicin, amoksisillin + clavulanic acid and cefotaxime.
