Abstract: Bu tez çalışmasında, 2015 yılı Myrina ve Gryneion yüzey araştırmalarında bulunan, antik kentlere ait kültür varlıkları incelenmiştir.
In this thesis, archaeological artifacts of Myrina and Gryneion are examined which are detected in the surveys of 2015. The archaeological artifacts discovered in the survey have been documented and photographed. The typological, chronological and material properties of the artifacts have been examined. After the examinations, name, period, place of investigation, type, measurement of the archaeological artifacts have written and defined as a catalog. Location of Myrina and Gryneion are mentioned. The history of the cities was explained by using the works of ancient sources and modern researchers. Data presented in previous studies and information on researchers' reviews are given. In this thesis, a total of 77 archaeological catalogs were prepared and evaluated for 63 pieces belonging to Myrina and 14 pieces belonging to Gryneion. From the 3rd century BC to 3rd century AD, coins are ridden in the name of Myrina. Myrina, also known as the free city, was named for a short time Sebastopolis in the Roman Imperial Age. Myrina and Gryneion are the two Aiol cities that are often mentioned together. The ancient city of Gryneion has gradually become a small settlement and linked to the ancient city of Myrina. It is possible to see that the two ancients cities related to each other in the depictions of Gryneion Apollon Sanctuary on the Myrina coins. The founding of the two cities dates back before ancient Greek colonisation. Temple of Gryneion Apollo and gods sacred grove became most important oracle center in antiquity.
