Aydın ili II. ürün mısır üretim alanlarında (Sesamia Nonagrioides Lep.: Noctuidae) ve ostrinia nubilalis hbn., (Lep.: Crambidae) zarar durumları ve agronomik değerler üzerindeki etkisi

Abstract

Çalışma, 2010 yılı mısır üretim sezonunda Sesamia nonagrioides ve Ostrinia nubilalis'in zarar durumlarını saptamak amacıyla Çine, Koçarlı, Nazilli ve Germencik'de I. ve II. üründe bölgede en fazla üretimi yapılan, I. üründe DKC- 6876 ve II. üründe DKC-5783 çeşitlerinde yürütülmüştür. Çalışmalar sonucunda, her iki türde I. üründe zarara yol açmazken, II. üründe önemli kayıplara neden olmuştur. Bu nedenle ikinci ürün verileri değerlendirilmiştir. S. nonagrioides'in larva yoğunluğu ve bulaşma miktarı koçana göre sapta daha fazla olmuştur. S. nonagrioides'in bulaşma durumu ilçelere göre %63-100 arasında, bitki başına larva sayısı 1,30-1,95 adet, bitki başına galeri sayısı 0,75-2,33 adet, bitki başına galeri uzunluğu 12,2-48,9 cm ve en fazla bulaşma bitkinin dip kısımlarında %24-80 arasında olmuştur. Larva miktarı ile agronomic parametreler arasında önemli bir ilişki saptanmamıştır. Ancak, S. nonagrioides'in galeri sayısı ile koçan ağırlığı, koçan uzunluğu, koçan dane sayısı, koçan sıra sayısı, sömek ağırlığı, yaş dane ve kuru dane verimi arasında negatif bir ilişki saptanmış ve önemli bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, S. nonagrioides'in yapmış olduğu galeri uzunluğunun toplam miktarı ile bitki boyu ve sap çapı dışındaki tüm parametreler arasında negatif yönde ilişki saptanmış ve önemli bulunmuştur. Diğer taraftan O. nubilalis ile parametreler arasındaki ilişki önemsiz bulunmuştur. Sonuçta, S. nonagrioides'in ikinci üründe potansiyel bir zararlı olduğu ve larva miktarından daha çok galeri miktarı ve galeri uzunluğunun verim değerleri üzerinde daha etkili olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu nedenle zararlıya karşı dayanıklı çeşitlerin araştırılmasının ve kullanılmasının mücadele bakımından önemli katkılar sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

The study was conducted to determine the statue of damage of Sesamia nonagrioides and Ostrinia nubilalis in the first and second crop maize, DKC- 6876 and DKC-5783 varieties, during the 2010 growing season in Çine, Germencik, Koçarlı and Nazilli (Aydın). At the end of the study, both pests caused more damage in the second crop compared with the first one. The amount of larvae and infestation ratio of S. nonagrioides has higher than that of the ear. The infestation ratio (%63-100), amount of larvae per plant (1,30-1,95), number of gallery per plant (0,75-2,33), the length of gallery per plant (12,2-48,9) among the cities varied. More infestations were also observed at %24-80 on the low part of the stem. There is no correlation found between the amounts of larvae of S. nonagrioides and agronomic parameters. However, a negative correlation was significantly found between the number of gallery of S. nonagrioides and ear weight, length of ear, number of corncob, wet and dry corn yield. Also, the negative correlation was significantly observed between total gallery length of S. nonagrioides and agronomic values, except plant height and diameter of stem. On the other hand, no significant correlations were found between O. nubilalis and agronomic parameters. As a result, it was revealed that S. nonagrioides was a potential pest in the second crop. Rather than the amount of larvae, the numbers of gallery and the length of total gallery had important role in yield values. Thus, it is suggested that more studies on the resistance should be advised against the S. nonagrioides.
