Siyah-alaca tosunların değişik dönemlerdeki vücut ölçüleri ve vücut ölçülerinden canlı ağırlığın tahmini

Abstract

Bu çalısmada on sekiz bas Siyah-Alaca tosunun degisik dönemlerdeki canlı agırlıkları (CA) ve dokuz farklı vücut ölçüleri alınmıs, bu ölçülerden gögüs çevresi (GÇ), but çevresi (BÇ), sagrı yüksekligi (SY) ve cidago yüksekligi (CY) kullanılarak stepwise-regresyon yöntemi ile hayvanlarınCA'larını tahminde kullanılabilecek esitlikler elde edilmistir. Elde edilen üç regresyon esitliginde deR >84 olarak tahmin edilmistir. Vücut ölçülerinin biri birleri ile ve CA ile olan korelasyonları ve bu özelliklerin tekrarlanma dereceleri de yüksek bulunmustur. GÇ'nin CA'yı tahmin etmek için tek basına kullanılmasının yeterli olacagı, BÇ ve SY'nin de kullanılması ile CA'yı tahmindeki dogrulugun artacagı sonucuna varılmıstır.

In this study, body weight (BW) and nine different body measurements of eighteen heads Holstein-Friesian bulls were taken at different periods and by using heart girth (HG), round girth (RG), height at rump (HR) and height at withers (HW),BWprediction equations were developed with stepwise-regression method. In all three equations, the R was found to be greater than 84. The correlations between the body measurements and with BW and the repeatabilities of these traits were found to be high. Therefore, in the prediction of BW, using only HG could be adequate, however, includingRGandHRinto the equation, the prediction of theBWwill be increased.
